by Announcement: The paper pattern for the 9th Class English paper for the year 2024 has been announced by the All Punjab Board. Board Like BISE Lahore, BISE Multan, BISE Faisalabad, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Dera Ghazi khan, BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Sahiwal, BISE Bahawalpur, BISE Sargodha. The paper will be of 75 marks and will be divided into two sections. Section A will be 19 marks and will consist of objective Type questions. Section B will be of 56 marks and will consist of short Essay type questions. The time allotted for the paper will be 3 hours.

English pattern 9th class All Punjab Board 2024
Section I (Multiple Choice Questions): This section will comprise 20 multiple-choice questions, and each question will carry one mark. The students will have to select the correct option from the given choices.
Section II (Short Questions)Attempt any Six out of Eight: This section will consist of 8 questions, and each question will carry 2 marks. The students will have to write the answers in 2 to 3 lines.
Section C (Translate the Paragraph into Urdu): This section will contain 2 questions, and each question will carry 4 marks. The students will have to translate the given Urdu passage into English.
Question No.4:In this Section students write a Summary containing 5 marks. The students will have to use idioms to make sentences in their own words.
Question: 5 (Idioms): This section will consist of 8 questions, and each question will carry 1 mark.
Question No.6 (Letter OR story OR Dialogue): This section will contain one question, and each question will carry 10 marks. The students will have to write a Letter OR story OR Dialogue on one of the given topics.
Overall, the English paper for the 9th Class in Punjab Board for the year 2023 will be 75 marks.
